Charlie Rockinger started working in IT in 1980. He quickly adapted his skills to “micro-computer” (PC) technology from the moment it hit the market. Through employment and consulting engagements over the next decade, Charlie established his expertise as a professional business technology integrator. From 1985 to 1991 he led a complete overhaul of a mini-computer based information system for the International Arabian Horse Association delivering in its place a state of the art Sun Microsystems SPARC data center serving Microsoft and custom Oracle applications to desktop PCs across the enterprise using Novell Netware. Shortly thereafter, Charlie founded Simplified Computer Solutions which provided IT operations and support services to high-tech startups like Vixel Corporation, non-profits such as the Colorado Association of Realtors, manufacturers including Vapor Technologies, Timberline Instruments, Tensitron and scores of other Colorado businesses in a variety of industries.
Jonathan Barnett began his career in IT in 1995 when he transitioned from programming, building and maintaining his own computers, to providing support for a number of Boulder business. After 3 years on his own, one of his clients requested that their network be evaluated by another consultant. This consultant was Charlie Rockinger - and not surprisingly they have worked together since. |
